Summary:
Candidate must be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, good-natured, energetic with a positive attitude, computer literate, and have an intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. Proficiency in organization, as well as both oral and written communication skills, are a must.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
3 + years’ experience in Collections
Conducting collecting calls and e-mails
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare weekly AR reports
Assisting with phones, as needed
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills for corresponding with clients.
Oral Communication: Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and obtains clarification when needed; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings; Comfortable assisting reception and directing calls within office.
Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet specific needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.
Teamwork: Balances team and individual responsibilities; Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; Gives and welcomes feedback; Puts success of team above own interests; Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.
Dependability: Follows instructions and responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments and exhibits good follow-up skills; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
